🚨 TOMORROW NIGHT IN WEXFORD! 🚨

🎤 So Say So #30 — Vona Groarke & David Costell

📍 @wexfordartscentre
📅 Thursday 15 October
⏰Showtime 8PM

We’re delighted to welcome Ireland Professor of Poetry Vona Groarke, one of Ireland’s finest poets, to So Say So, accompanied by the brilliant multi-instrumentalist David Costello @davidjohncostello

With @Basciville currently away touring, I’ve had the opportunity to bring another musician and friend into the mix to accompany Vona. It’s a new addition to the So Say So family, and we’re looking forward to seeing what unfolds!

🎟️ Please book your tickets in advance:
https://www.wexfordartscentre.ie

A quick note: we know the Wexford Opera Festival is in full swing, with fireworks taking place on the quayside, so we’ll be pushing our start time back slightly to accommodate the festivities. Please arrive on time, and book ahead if you can!

🔥 AND THERE’S MORE TO COME!

🗣️ Thursday 29 October — Leinster Poetry Slam Final

For the first time, the Leinster Poetry Slam Final comes to Wexford Arts Centre! Expect fierce competition, brilliant writing and some serious word slinging. The top two poets will win cash prizes and go on to represent Leinster at the All-Ireland Poetry Slam Championships.

🎶 Thursday 14 January 2027 — Maureen Onwunali & Basciville

We’re delighted to be partnering with First Fortnight, Ireland’s Mental Health Arts Festival, to bring Maureen and Basciville to Wexford for a special night of poetry and music.

Three events, plenty of words, music and good company.

Come along, bring a friend, and help us keep this lovely thing going!

Big love,
Stephen

It’s an absolute honour to have curated the music for Therapy Sessions for First Fortnight in January. This will be an incredible night filled with poetry curated by @sjswords and two of my favourite artists in the world @melinamalone and @nealodasilla, I may or may not be also playing a set, the return 👀 There might be a few surprise guests as well
