✨ Meet the Artist - 2026 LILA Dance Festival ✨

SundanceX returns to the LILA Dance Festival for a third consecutive year!

Founded by choreographer and educator David Sun in 2013, SundanceX is a classically based ballet company in the Greater Boston and New Hampshire region. @davidkavikaloha studied with Richard Thomas and Barbara Fallis at the New York School of Ballet and has enjoyed a career as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer throughout New England and beyond.

Over the years, SundanceX has performed throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey, bringing together professional dancers from companies including Boston Ballet, City Ballet of Boston, Virginia National Ballet, and a talented roster of freelance artists.

This year, SundanceX returns with "The Wild Wind Weeps," an original abstract neoclassical work by David Sun, and we look forward to sharing it with audiences in Rochester this August.
