Committing to run track and field in college is one of the most exciting and biggest decisions I’ve ever made. It represents years of hard work, perseverance, and my passion for running. From the countless hours spent training to the amazing friends I have made along the way have shaped who I am today. This commitment is more than just about continuing my athletic career; it’s about challenging myself to grow as a person, both academically and on the track.

For me, this decision is about joining a program that believes in my potential and aligns with my personal goals. It’s an honor to be able to represent Manchester and contribute to a team that values dedication and teamwork. I’m excited to push myself alongside talented teammates.
This commitment also reflects my gratitude for everyone who has supported me along the way. Not only in track but also in all things that I do. My family, coaches, teammates, and friends. They’ve encouraged me during losses, celebrated my victories, and reminded me of what’s ahead. As I take this next step, I’m eager to represent my schools old and new with pride, give my all to my team, and continue pushing the boundaries of what I can achieve. This is the start of a new chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited to see where this journey takes me. by @davidlacy06

I’m so grateful for everything this year gave me the challenges, the growth, and the people. Year one is officially in the books, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to experience it with. Getting to run alongside such amazing people has been one of the best parts of my whole freshman year. I got to learn so much from all the seniors this year. They set the standard every day with their ethics, and leadership. From top 10 lists to just trying to finish the race this year had been awesome. It’s hard to put into perspective the effect this summer had on me. What started as just a job turned into the best summer ever. I was able to make life long friends, and change life’s. Hanging rock is my home away from home. I cannot wait to see my people again.
