Here we go! The Fantastic Four #5 “Prisoners of Doctor Doom!”The 1st appearance of Dr. Doom is mine 💎This was a big moment for Marvel, especially Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and the Fantastic Four! Just reading this whole comic was really special, I wonder sometimes what it was like being in the same room as Jack Kirby while he was drawing, also his not even knowing how big of a mark he was leaving on this planet. Inside on the story: Dr. Doom captures to FF, sends them back in time to find Blackbeards hidden treasure, specifically the “Stones of Merlin” hoping they will make him invincible so he can rule the world ! For the first time we also see Latveria and his castle. A cool little easter egg I noticed was Johnny reading a Hulk number one! I didn’t know this but there’s an Ad for Hulk 1 ❗️I didn’t even know where to begin with this one! I made a friend, we talked for a bit about comics, he said he had a Fantastic Four #5 and he made me a crazy deal that I just couldn’t pass up on! Kicking this November off with an exquisite copy of Marvel Spotlight 5! Featuring the 1st appearance of The Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze 🔥One of MY favorite characters! Last time I showed this book it was slabbed Now it’s time to take a look through these epic pages of The Ghost Rider! Creators Gary Friedrich & Mike Ploog cooked up a very interesting supernatural superhero! The cover was done by Mike Ploog & Morrie Kuramoto! Now this is how you introduce a character with a first appearance and on the cover !
