| The last dance.

Sometimes, stories come to the end. 🖋️

No matter how they end, the important thing is to cherish the wonderful memories and moments they gave us. And to remember that every ending also opens the door to new adventures.

This weekend marks the second-to-last @spectrumwavesparis we will spend together at @stationgaredesmines before it closes at the end of October.

A heavy heart, but an immense feeling of pride too.

I’m deeply grateful to have been able to live, grow and bring this place to life for almost nine years. A truly unique and iconic place in Paris, carried by committed teams and people who stand for what nightlife and music should always be about: sharing and freedom.

Thank you @valentintoque @keki____ and @thomastrapperapas for giving @leaocchi and me the opportunity to make a home within these walls, and for giving to our community a place to live in. Thank you to everyone who has given their time and energy to build this project with us. And thank you to all the artists who have supported us, and shared what we stand for.

I would give a lot to go back to day one.
But the story definitely doesn’t end here. Not a chance.

See you tonight to celebrate. ✨ taken in La Station - Gare des Mines by @davidlenr

« Sitting on that cold leather couch,
I was looking you, right in front of me,
with that burning desire to hold you close… »

A few words about what we build, what we feel, and what happens between bodies in the dark. Many thanks to BUTT Magazine team and @apasq914 💞 (link in bio)

Also to @leaocchi, my partner since day one, and the entire @spectrumwavesparis family!

Let’s continue this wild, glowing, childlike adventure,
Let’s continue until the end of this idyll.

See you Saturday at @stationgaredesmines! ✨

@spectrumwavesparis is a pillar of queer nightlife in Paris.

Founded in 2017 by @davidlenr and @leaocchi, Spectrum Waves was born from a desire to create a haven for freedom, expression and community. Musically, it centres on techno and house music, with regulars including @sedeffadasi, @blashaallatt and @quelza_m. Their monthly events at @stationgaredesmines transform the disused coal station into an immersive, dreamlike space

« Close to the sea, I listen and watch the waves crashing upon the sand. On the horizon, a spectrum appears. Is that you? Calling me from afar? »

We dance under the moon,
In its soft light.
I don’t want to let you go.

There is a song in my heart,
Can you hear it?
