Hello Friends!

Many of you have heard that I’m on sabbatical this year up in Hudson NY. ICON @annamalskaya is still in the city, doing makeup consultations/private lessons - if you’ve ever felt insecure in your makeup skills, it doesn’t cost that much to have a great teacher get you past that. If you know Anna you know she’s not only incredibly talented and knowledgeable, but also a deeply generous collaborator and kind soul. Basically her one-on-one lesson is like learning to do your makeup and getting a spa treatment and therapy at the same time. GLORIOUS.

Anyhoo… As for me I saw 3 bobcats yesterday, we go on walks (at least until yesterday), I house-husband, cook, read, I’m taking classes… I’m very grateful for the break and the countryside.

We might do a couple of pop ups in Hudson and I’ll post about that if so.

I’m going to try to post some photos also in the next few weeks.

Love to you New York.

Anna Nikolić is kind of a punk rock Audrey Hepburn if such a thing is possible. Thank you Anna! #headshotsnyc #headshotsession #portraitphotography #studiophotography #actorlife #portraitmood #headshotsla taken in David Noles Photography by @davidnoles

@zfike is a wonder. “I am a queer and Jewish actor, theater maker, and teaching artist based in New York City. I seek to create work that evokes visceral response, borrowing inspiration from embodied metaphor (I.e. tidal waves of electric guitar, melancholy park lamps) to crack open new perspectives on how we experience our own experience.” … I just loved our conversation.

I felt as though I were watching a film with Mckenna Kerrigan on screen in countless moments of genuine intimate connection, ranging from cold raw power to deep compassion. Sometimes she was the President, sometimes she was a union organizer… Thank you @ckmenna !
