It’s the greatest person in the world’s birthday today!!!! To be loved by Alyssa is the most incredible feeling and she deserves to be showered with love today!!!! I wake up every day wondering how this is my life? I get to do life with my best friend. She works SO incredibly hard loves so incredibly hard. I think Alyssa should be celebrated every single day, but let’s celebrate her hard today. For almost two years now, Alyssa and I have been trying for a child. And for those two years, we have been met with silence. We don’t understand why it hasn’t happened yet, and we don’t have any answers. We have cried together, been heartbroken over negative pregnancy tests, but we have decided that we are no longer going to allow the enemy to control the narrative. We will have children. We will get our miracle. We are asking for prayer over us in this season. We’ve kept this to ourselves for so long, but know there an army of people who love and support us. by @davidtcch1

What a weekend! The large and small human video we coached both took home 1st place! 🥇🥇 I could not be more proud of both group of kids for taking the vision we had for both videos and executed them so well. It is such a blessing to be your coach!! This was an awesome experience, but the job is not finished. On to nationals! by @davidtcch1

Alyssa and I bought our first home this week! We are so incredibly grateful for @thehennesyfoundation for helping us make this happen. We are also grateful for @ambhat1 and @jordanhatleymolina for being the best realtors and for @katiedreamhome for walking us through the buying process so smoothly. I can’t believe it’s already been two years!! This adventure with you has been the greatest years of my life! I have not always made it easy, but you’ve loved me endlessly no matter how much I get on your nerves or fill your weekends with never ending football games. You’ve made so many sacrifices. You have never failed to serve with me and run with me in my calling even when you’re driving over an hour from work on Wednesday Night to be able to lead Youth Service with me. Happy birthday to my best friend and soulmate. Being loved by you is the most incredible thing, and I wake up every single day so grateful for the fact that you chose me. NATIONALS 2025

Probably one of the toughest years of Fine Arts I’ve ever had to walk through. After having a year of such great success in 2024, we did not have the success we thought we would in 2025. We were shocked. We were confused. I still don’t know how to make sense of it….. BUT what I do know is, I would not have changed a single thing. I love and cherish every single moment we created this year. I love every single student God placed in my life this year. The memories created will live forever in my heart. No judges opinion will ever be able to take that away from me. I watched my students celebrate others even when they were broken and hurting. I watched them choose to show up for their friends even when things did not go their way this week. My kids taught me how to be a better leader, how to be a better example. @lys.ferguson is my superhero. Not only did she get promoted to manager of her entire spa in less than 6 months, but she constantly makes sacrifices every single day to help me pursue my dreams. She works 40+ hours a week, drives almost two hours a day in commute, and still serves in ministry with me. Whether it’s going to two services on Sunday, going straight from work to youth on Wednesdays, or just constantly giving her time to serve the church and help out at every single event. Alyssa does it all, and I am so grateful for this life with you! I love you ❤️ by @davidtcch1

Today, as I celebrate another year around the sun, I also mourn the loss of my grandmother. Last night, my grammy went to be with Jesus. She is no longer in pain. If you knew Grammy, you knew that she loved and welcomed everyone. It doesn’t matter if you were family, one of her friends, or even one of her grandkids friends, everyone had a place at Grammy’s house. Grammy’s house is where I had countless sleepovers with my favorite cousin. It’s where I was fed hundreds of meals, it was my safe place to go when I wanted to run away from all my problems. And I knew that no matter what was going on, no matter what time it was, Grammy would always welcome me into her home and make sure I was fed. I am going to miss her so much, but I have peace in the fact that she is in heaven praising Jesus with Grandpa. I will miss your shrimp cocktail at Christmas that you put out specifically for me. I will miss bonding over our hatred of pumpkin(the dog), and I will miss the love you poured into my life every single day. Today, on my birthday, I am choosing to celebrate the incredible life my grandmother lived. Cancer sucks. Tell Grandpa how much we love and miss him. by @davidtcch1
