“God speaks in the silence of the heart. Listening is the beginning of prayer.” - Mother Teresa. I captured this footage of God’s stunning creations a few weeks ago while taking a peaceful trip to the Caribbean with my wife. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 #pray #peaceful #blessing #grateful #heaven #sunset by @davidtolk

Earlier this year, Lisa and I built a new creative retreat in Venice, Florida which provides me with a stunningly beautiful and peaceful setting to compose and record new music. Many of the songs from my new album “A Quiet Life” were composed here. Almost every evening when we are here, Lisa and I experience the amazing and transformative sunsets over the gulf. I filmed this video of the title track from the new album on Venice Beach at sunset because this special place has helped me experience a quiet life this year.

“A Quiet Life” is now available everywhere. It is my hope that this album will provide you with a peaceful soundtrack for a quiet life. 🙏🏼❤️❤️🙏🏼 #aquietlife #peace #godisgood #piano #composer taken in Venice Beach, Florida by @davidtolk

I believe God loves each of us individually more than we can comprehend and that we can feel His love and peace even during the storms of life. I have experienced the miracle of feeling peace and the warm comforting love of God even while grappling with some of the most difficult challenges of my life. I composed “Beloved” as a soundtrack to and a reminder of the miracle of the profound unconditional love of God that always surrounds us. Check out “Beloved” on your favorite streaming platform. Thanks for listening. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 #beloved #godislove #pray #peace #composer by @davidtolk
