To coach the talents of the future national team athletes, you must constantly challenge the way they move.

Last Sunday, David and ai worked with resistance bands:
moving extremely slow, under tension…

Feeling every position.
Every transition.
Every finished technique.

When we removed the bands and asked them to move fast again and the difference was immediate. ⚡️

Control creates speed.
Tension creates awareness.
Awareness creates precision.

Almost the entire team is represented in this reel and I’m so proud of the focus and discipline they bring every single time.

This is how we build future kata athletes. 🥋🔥

Thanks to dojo @alleroedkaratedojo for letting us host the training ⛩️

To be coaching the talents of the future national team athletes, you must be creative. 🥋✨

You can’t just repeat the same sessions over and over. Development demands new tools.

This Sunday, @davidveistrup and I introduced a simple, but powerful, method:

📱 Partner up
🎥 Film a short kata sequence
🐢 Watch it back in slow motion
🔎 Analyze immediately and see all the details

Because when you slow it down… you see everything.
Every unfinished technique. Every small imbalance. Every hidden flaw.

Our focus this season is clear:
✔️ The new WKF kata rules
✔️ Clean, finished techniques
✔️ Sharp execution, no unnecessary noise

The best part?
It’s a tool they can use together… and alone at home.

And to become great, you must also master training alone. 💪

Proud to develop the next generation alongside David. Details matter. Always.

Last training with the Danish National Talent Team 🥳

Yesterday marked the final session of the season — and what an honour it has been to coach this incredible team together with David.
The dedication, energy and willingness to grow have been impressive, and even in this short time we’ve already seen real progress.

We’ll continue to push, guide and challenge the young Danish kata talents ⭐️
Proud of every single one of them.
