Finally wrapping post production last month, I’m happy to share the stills of CONSCIOUSNESS, a sci-fi/horror/romance short film. I wrote and directed this as my UCLA “senior thesis film” in spring of 2024 as a part of my final for The Sunken Place: Racism, Survival, and Black Horror Aesthetic class. This film took my skills as a writer/director to the another level I wanted to while at UCLA film school. . Logline: After receiving a sentient VR headset that becomes dangerously possessive, a young man must fight for his life and newfound love when the artificial intelligence violently attempts to eliminate its romantic rival. . My eternal gratitude to the cast and crew that made this ambitious story come true. 🩷💙 .
