It’s time for a little pupdate on Crossroads—although these days, she answers to Billie Eilish! 🖤

Billie has settled beautifully into our family and made it very clear that her absolute favorite person is her big brother, Buster Rhymes. She is completely his shadow and follows him everywhere. Thankfully, the feeling is mutual. Buster, who turns two in December, took her in wholeheartedly from the very beginning. He cleans her, plays with her, watches over her and happily lets her curl up as close to him as physically possible. Their bond is genuinely one of the sweetest things we’ve ever witnessed.

Billie is growing into such a beautiful, funny and loving girl. She loves keeping watch over the neighborhood with Buster, finding the coziest spots in the house and, apparently, using him as her own personal pillow. 😂

We’re so grateful she found her way to us. Crossroads may have been the name she had while waiting for her family, but she is very much Billie Eilish now—and she is deeply loved. 🐾🖤 by @davisashley1

What a fantastic 8 years it has been with these girls, coach, and especially their sweet mommas. Soccer won’t be the same without them as Addi starts a new team in the Fall. The girls made it to Nationals in Virginia and we enjoyed every second of our last few days together 🏖️❤️⚽️ #kcunionsoccer taken in Virginia Beach, Virginia by @davisashley1

Cheers to 5 years.

I planned a day of surprises — a hidden spa, empanadas, tacos, art galleries, dinner in a castle and a speakeasy nightcap.

Somewhere along the way we realized the best part of the adventure is just doing life together.

She came off the field and made the stop no one saw coming. 💪🏼 Not a regular tackler, but tonight Evie shut it down. #Tuff taken in Indian Woods Middle School by @davisashley1

My favorite kicker, #23, dropping the shoulder, saving a TD! 🏈 This was such a cool moment for her! Her team rallied around her, her coach picked her up! I couldn’t stop smiling for like an hour! 🥰 by @davisashley1

From diapers to diplomas… and now, a college football jersey. Watching my oldest nephew grow into the incredible young man he is today has been one of life’s greatest honors. Every hug on that field held years of love, hard work, and the presence of those we miss most—cheering from above. SNU, you’re getting one of the best. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. Love you always, your forever hype woman—Nana. taken in Eufaula High School by @davisashley1

There’s nothing better for the soul than time with family—sun on your face, laughter in the air, and a fishing pole in hand. I hopped on the boat with Dad, but the real catch of the weekend? A quiet little pond out front, some uncle-approved bait, and a whole lot of patience. Grateful for the helpers, the hugs, and every memory made.
