It can be so frustrating feeling as though you have taken steps back, especially when you have given everything to move forward. But progress is not linear, and these moments don’t undo any of the strength and resilience it took to get there.
I say this as recent mental health struggles have caused me to stray away from the progress I work hard everyday to achieve. This is not my final destination or a failure. This is a chance for me to pause, heal, reflect, and grow. For others who are struggling in ways that may not always be visible, remember that in this lifelong journey, one that includes detours and unravellings, you are not alone! There is comfort and strength in knowing that support exists, that help can be found, and that together we can continue moving forward, one step at a time.💚 by @daviscooke_
