Stupid impossible to fit everyone and everything into 20 images to round up the year. Even when life decides to throw a curveball, I’ve found a way. I’ve grabbed something to keep going. There’s always been someone or something that makes sure I don’t stop. I’ve almost definitely missed a few who should be here. #2025 has been a year of people; a year of travel; a year of memories; a year of growth; a year of adventure; a year of change; a year of doing something new; and a year of bringing the best people in. Somehow, someway, everyone has shaped me to be who I am. I love that energy and then giving it back. From my Chaos Crew, new best friends, to my new workmates, my new friends I met on my travels and consider beautiful humans, the sports clubs, and everyone else: 2025 was a bright year. Not completely perfect, but still enough to be going into 2026 with a bang and some ideas. And a spark of life too. The song to accompany is fitting as there was a personal moment I was part of with it as well. I’ve learned balance, motivation, and importantly, been appreciated and able to appreciate equally. Football is better with friends. Period.
While the Lions may have lost the @aflwomens Grand Final, getting to go and experience it with these people made it so much better. Plus Bellsy at the start being absolutely brilliant and chuffed with this too 🦁

Bucket list/childhood #cricket tragic dream: watch or see ANY game @homeofcricket in any format, no matter the teams playing. On September 4th, I got my wish with @englandcricket v @proteasmencsa in the 2nd ODI. From securing tickets in the ballots last year and making the game a key reason for travelling, everything hinged on it being amazing. It was in every sense of the word. Incredible experience to watch the game and explore everything on offer at the ground. What a view!!! When 10+ years of waiting culminated in seeing @volbeat in Vienna on my whirlwind, sensational EU & UK adventure…everything just felt so right. After discovering the band in 2015 and quickly becoming obsessed, oh my word, I had such an incredible time watching an amazing band. Another amazing “pinch me” moment:

BOYHOOD DREAM LIVED IN THE UK! When @railwaytouringcompany sent “The Waverley” from York to Carlisle, I knew I’d be there to watch it. Even more special? Tangmere was heading the train. I absolutely couldn’t believe my luck, knowing that one of my favourite locomotives was about to pull this train. The timing was literally so perfect. So to see this beautiful engine in steam pull something cool - and live out what I saw on videos as a kid - had me geeking out with so much excitement. I’m amazed I didn’t fall over!! Even better?
