POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Went to work one day, 4 years ago, and met this STUNNING woman from Houston. I was convinced, however, that she wasn’t gonna Rope me in (single dude Champaign problems). But she didn’t have to because, the truth was, I wanted to be exactly where she was anyway. Now I’m bopping Felt Hats and wranglers, with a 🔥collection of Cowboy boots lol. And She actually loves NYC/NJ now, is laced with a 🔥 sneaker collection, and digs cold weather attire lol. Every day with her IS the best choice. So I choose as many every day’s together on this Earth as God will allow. 🙏🏾
This was 1,000% the most SPECTACULAR aspect of my 2025!!!

WHAT A GIFT TO HAVE DONE TWELFTH NIGHT, SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK (CENTRAL PARK)!!!@publictheaterny.
It was an absolute dream come true. Grateful is an understatement. This group of people were some of the most impressive and beautiful artists I’ve ever had the privilege of sharing space with. I’m proud to say I was there, when the Delacorte reopened, when we did Twelfth Night, in New York City, in Central Park, with THESE people. I appreciate all of the patrons who came out, stood in those impossible lines for tickets, for being audiences. It was here then gone in a flash. HOWEVER! It doesn’t mean you won’t be able to see it. Check us out on GREAT PERFORMANCES on PBS!

Loved every second of this process and everyone involved. Thank you @pbsgreatperformances for sharing our work with a wider audience! So much love!

Dear MR. FOREMAN! 🥊 🥊🥊
The Father!
The Preacher!
The 2X Heavyweight Champion!
Arguably THE most LEGENDARY, hardest hitting fighter in Boxing history!

What an honor it is to have shared space with you sir!

I remember being so nervous meeting you. When I finally stood in front of you and shook your hand (Which was enormous!). It immediately occurred to me that I was standing in the presence of someone who has done something great! Someone who has been etched in the pages of our collective history! I had never seen anyone like you before! Not to mention that even in your 70’s you were still an absolute unit of a man! Lol… I recall being so enamored and star struck by you that I couldn’t speak. I just wanted to listen to you talk, on and on and on and on. Finally I said to myself, “Khris! Snap out of it! He’s just talking! You have to ask him questions!” I have no idea what I asked, yet you graciously guided me through our first conversation.

This video is a moment, among many others, that stood out to me after we met. This is a moment I carried with me. This is a moment that felt soooooo tense I wasn’t sure how to react to you lol. I never forgot all that we talked about in that gym. The gems you gave me about you! Taking those rides around Houston. Meeting your beautiful family. Discovering all the little things we had in common. Seeing your horses, and watching you preach!

Mr. Foreman, it has been and it will always be one of my greatest privileges to have had the opportunity to do my absolute best at honoring your story. To be Big George Foreman! I have never taken that gift for granted! Thank you for sharing a small part of your life with me and with everyone else whose lives you’ve touched.

MEET THE CAST OF GOOD BONES!!! 👏 🎉

The long-anticipated New York premiere of GOOD BONES begins performances on September 19, written by Pulitzer Prize winner James Ijames and directed by Public Theater Associate Artistic Director/Resident Director Saheem Ali!

“I’m delighted to be working again with James Ijames after our journey together on FAT HAM, and excited to explore this story with the extraordinary Mamoudou Athie, Khris Davis, Téa Guarino, and Susan Kelechi Watson. Good Bones is a stunning new play. It adds a layer of complexity to the ongoing conversation about gentrification, community, and the places we call home.” - Director Saheem Ali

What a WEEKEND!!
Representing our film @foremanmovie I had the privilege of meeting and watching @shakurstevenson do his thing! I’ve been a big fan of his for a minute and I’m looking forward to watching him have a long and victorious career. Dude ain’t no joke! @jaredanderson419 was a monster in there last night (as usual). @businesskeyshawn broke his opponent down down. It was magnificent watching them all go to work this weekend!
Not only that! At the weigh in for #stevensonyoshino I got to meet two legends of the sport. Jacob “STITCH” Duran @stitchduran, and without a doubt, the legendary “Top Rank” Promoter and founder Bob Arum!
Thank you @toprank for the invite, the gracious hospitality, and for promoting @foremanmovie. Only in theatre’s April 28th. LETS GO!!!

We tell stories. We push and pull away at ourselves. We search for that place of truth within our hearts. We give it all we’ve got. We sacrifice. We are triumphant, and we are humbled. We do our duty that is best, and we leave unto God the rest, and STILL. We tell, The STORY! What a journey! As always. My heart, and my spirit are in GRATITUDE!

🚨🚨TESTIMONY 🚨🚨2014-2022
I was a caterer for many years. I worked sometimes 40+ hours a week while still making my auditions 2-3 times a week. Sometimes I would get home at 3am and read my lines for an hour. Sleep for two hours. Get up and get to work! Where would I be going?
🗣 NASDAQ!!!
I was a part of the catering crew at NASDAQ who would do the coffee, tea, and breakfast set up for conferences, IPO’s, and Opening Bell Ceremonies!
Today? I was a PART of the Opening Bell Ceremony! Together my fellow Broadway cast members from “Death Of A Salesman” (Running 17 weeks starting September 17th). I was met by dear friends with love. In the very place I used to make the sacrifices needed to peruse a dream larger than I actually thought possible. In a City larger than my budget lol. Never! In a million years did I think I would be back in the building as a guest!
FULL CIRCLE!!! I am grateful. I thank God for showing me the mirror of my life. For standing me face to face with how far I’ve come, and how much farther I CAN go!
Wow, what a life.
So much love to all of my beautiful friends that I’ve made during the process.
Drams Yo! The thangs DO come true!
