The story of our little miracle child .. 🖤🤍

This winter we were admiring a group of little kittens from the window. I said “this is my dream come true”, I wanted to rescue them, but we weren’t sure what to do, we observed their whole colony and their mother and father were very present parents I didn’t know when would be appropriate to separate them. I reached out to some kitten rescues but they either didn’t respond or were of minimal support. I let it go and prayed they would make it through the winter.

Then the first snow storm of the year hit.

We were inside watching Christmas movies and all of a sudden we heard a lone kitten screaming in the backyard. We went out back, and our first capture attempt failed and he ran out of the fence, my heart sank but I prayed he would at least get out and find his family to stay warm. There was no way a lone kitten could survive the night when it was going all the way down to 8 degrees. About an hour later he returned to the yard and we heard him screaming again. We weren’t sure why he didn’t reunite with his family. This second time we were more strategic. I covered all the holes in the fence with towels so we could easily corner him when he tried to escape. And we got him :) Our little feral baby was scared and spicy for all of 24 hours before he became the sweetest bean.

There were two requirements for us to be able to actually keep him 1) he had to be a boy, as Shelby our senior cat is the queen and would not fare well with another queen in the house. 2) had to be disease free. When we took him to the vet he was both!!

I always said when I meet my familiar the cat distribution center will deliver him to me, I am not going to go searching or pick out an act somewhere he is just going to come to me. I always knew my familiar would be a little boy. And here he is! He called out us 🥹

His name is Pluto 🖤🤍🖤 after the planet an Edgar Allen Po’s cat 🐈‍⬛ @davismatthews ✨🥰 taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @davismatthews

The reason I was @robzombieofficial for Halloween was because @qwayband asked me to sit in for their cover of #dragula as part of their #matrix themed set at @thebarnsj ! Huge thanks to them, as their biggest fan, I was super hype to do this! It was badass and we crushed it, so I had to post the full video!🤘🏻🧟‍♂️😈

I traveled a bunch for friends, family, and music. Visiting my brother at Virginia Tech and hiking Blacksburg mountains was epic. (Thanks for the outfit @mrfuntimemerica ) Visiting @cyhandavid in Massachusetts for biscuits and hiking with Haber was a special treat while on tour. Surprising uncle @paul.mastromarino dressed as 007🔫 for his birthday that I couldn’t actually stay for was hilarious and memorable. And closing out biscuits tour going back to Vermont and hitting Sugar and Spice a second time was icing on the cake to my travels in Fall 2024. by @davismatthews
