July - August 2026 Reflections | What a summer it has been!

+ Lots of great family time! ❤️ Spent the 4th of July at Mahoney State Park with the family and got to show my niece rock climbing. 🏓 Everyone is getting into playing pickleball. I also went home to spend some time with my dad.
+ GenCon 🎲 Finally got to go for the first time! It was so much fun and I got introduced to Magic. Have been playing in some events and a lot at home.
+ Celebrated birthdays! 🎉🥳
+ Meeting new people
+ Zeus is a growing boy! 🐕‍🦺 I have been taking him to obedience lessons, he has been going to parks, playing in lake water, and even getting on the paddle board.
+ Pole: Making new progress and have been really enjoying teaching. ❤️

Overall, a pretty great two months.

May - June 2026 Reflections

+ Turned 30! 🎉
+ Adopted a new puppy! His name is Zeus and he is growing so fast!
+ Traveled to Los Angeles, Chicago and Kansas City
+ Lots of family time!
+ Supporting my friend in her first pole competition where she placed 3rd!

March - April 2026 Reflections 💔

Atlas went to the Rainbow Bridge on April 17th, 2026. 🌈

I am so grateful I got to spend his last day on Earth with him and be there for when he made the crossing. 🐾 On his last day, he was able to go for a walk, have his favorite treats, and sniff the air in his favorite spot in the backyard.

Atlas will always be in my heart. ❤️ He was the most perfect, kind, furry little soul I have ever met. I am so lucky to have been able to love and care for him. 🐶

+ The most amazing support from friends and family
+ Lots of aerial art (pole, hammock, acro)

November 2025 Reflections

+ Feeling like myself again 😊
+ Getting to spend time with family and friends! ❤️
+ New York City ❤️ You are always good to me, but this time was really special and meaningful. Met amazing people, enjoyed delicious food and had incredible experiences.
+ Northern Lights
+ Health & Fitness
+ Husker Volleyball
+ Rediscovering my love for puzzles 😊

.... Honestly, just feeling really grateful and happy. I'm sure I had some not so positive things happen but I'll look back on this month with rose-colored glasses. by @davitadick

+ Lots of family time ❤️ (pumpkin patches, birthdays, walks to support CF, football game)
+ Enjoyed the beautiful fall weather 🍂🍁

+ Will be teaching group fitness classes at VASA Fitness

+/- Puzzles — a nice little brain break but can easily become obsessive about finishing
+/- Side projects like crazy — love having them but right now my plate is overflowing

August 2025 Reflections | 🛫🇬🇷

+ Visited my first European country—Greece 🇬🇷
+ Exploring ancient historical sites (Acropolis of Athens, Mycenaean Acropolis, Amphitheatre of Epidaurus, Delphi, Palace of Knosses and more)
+ Meeting the nicest and most friendly people ever, especially on Crete
+ Mediterranean Sea
+ Niece's 4th Birthday

+/- Started fall semester, taking Anatomy & Physiology II

- Some jet lag
- Trying to get caught up on all the things

+/- My X-Pole In-Person 3&4 certification got cancelled. I'm sad I didn't get to do it but it would have been another trip to KC a day after I got back from NYC

- NYC was hottt, unbearably so.
- Travel... I was supposed to fly into Hartford CT for a work trip but my layover got delayed and then eventually cancelled in Detroit... Flew back to Omaha the next morning and then 2 days later flew to NYC instead. by @davitadick

June 2025 Reflections • Birthday Month 🎉

How is it possible to pack so much into a month?

+ Turning 29 ❤️
+ 2 new nieces welcomed into the family!
+ Spending lots of time with family and friends (seeing @danishefke 😊, birthday outings 🥂, going to @anjellyca_fillups's wedding 🎉 and phone chats with @erinlynn2014 🤳)
+ Got my Ayesha, a move I've been working towards for months, probably even longer

+/- Getting cozy with being uncomfortable
+/- Taking Medical Terminology this summer
+/- Somehow managing to keep up with everything
