AI House Davos 2026: Main Points of Discussion

This year’s AI House wasn’t about hype — it was about infrastructure, sovereignty, and accountability. Some of the biggest threads running through the week:

🤖 AI as infrastructure — leaders compared this AI buildout to the railroad and electricity eras. Data centers, chips, and compute are now treated as strategic national assets.

🤖 Jobs, not job loss — Nvidia’s Jensen Huang pushed back on doom narratives, pointing to surging demand (and pay) for electricians, plumbers, and skilled trades tied to the AI infrastructure boom.

🤖 Trust & safety at scale — from military decision-making to deepfakes to “shadow AI” in the enterprise, governance was everywhere — not as a side conversation, but as the main event.

🤖 AI for science & health — drug discovery, longevity research, and climate computing all got serious floor time, showing where AI’s real-world ROI is landing first.

The tone this year: less “is this a bubble,” more “how do we actually build this responsibly — and who gets left out if we don’t.” #davos2027 #davos2026 by @davospremier_
