Medal Gear was initially an idea I had for clothing. Using Medals within the Gear to represent the awards we've earned doin what we do, & the Gear also representing the tools we use to get them. Day 81...MedaL GeaR...Wanted...August 27 2023...URL Summer Madness XIII... Houston, Texas... It'd been 2 years since I left Austin, & it was time for me to do something special for myself. So I booked a flight & a ticket for this event. My 2nd Smack Battle, as I went to Nome 9 in 2019, same venue & that was crazy! seeing Pat Stay live, Surf vs Geechi, K Shine vs Rum Nitty was such a memory. SM XIII was dope, not as live as Nome 9 but HoLLow, Twerk, DNA, Jerry Wess, Suge, Tay Roc aLL did their fkn thing & Ace Amin set it off!... crossed paths wit my favorite of aLL tiiime, hoLLow at both events, divine timing.
