What a weekend! ❤️
From celebrating ONE YEAR of Pooka at The Pillars to standing on the field at a New York Giants game! 🏈✨

Sometimes I have to remind myself to stop, look around and take it all in.
Entrepreneurship is a journey. There are long days, sleepless nights, challenges, sacrifices and moments when you wonder if all the hard work is paying off.

And then there are weekends like this.
A weekend filled with celebration, incredible people, unexpected experiences and reminders of just how far this journey has taken me.

After almost 25 years in business, I’m still learning, still growing, still dreaming and still walking through doors I never imagined would open.
Here’s what I know: Don’t get so caught up in building your dream that you forget to enjoy the life you’re creating along the way.

I’m grateful for every opportunity, every person who supports this journey and every new chapter God allows me to experience.

And the beautiful thing? I still believe there’s so much more ahead!
Keep showing up. Keep believing. Keep building. You never know where your journey will take you. ❤️

My heart is FULL! ❤️🥹

WOW! What an AMAZING celebration! One year at The Pillars and I’m still smiling from all the love we felt yesterday!

Seeing so many familiar faces, longtime Pooka supporters and new friends come through those doors meant EVERYTHING! And watching everyone Bloom with Will Downing, Lenny Green, Mikki Taylor and Marco Hall was such a special moment!
The music, the laughter, the hugs, the energy… WHAT A DAY! 🎉

From starting Pooka in my kitchen to celebrating this milestone with our community, all I can say is GOD IS GOOD! 🙏🏽

THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, brought friends, sent love and continues to support this little dream that keeps growing.

Pooka has always been about more than products. It’s about PEOPLE, LOVE and COMMUNITY. And yesterday was a beautiful reminder of that.
Feeling blessed beyond words! 💛
One year down… and we’re just getting started!

One thing I’ve learned after 25 years in business: you have to be ready to pivot.
We recently brought the Bloom Bar to a Professional Development Day for Newark principals and educators. But this wasn’t just about making perfume. We used fragrance blending to talk about entrepreneurship, branding, creativity and leadership—and it worked beautifully.
Sometimes the opportunity isn’t exactly what you originally created your business to do. The question is: Can you see how what you’ve built can serve people in a new way?
That’s where growth happens.
Stay open. Stay creative. And when the opportunity comes, be ready to pivot.

Big moment for our founder, @dawnfitchofficial 💐✨

We’re so proud to share that Dawn has been named one of ROI-NJ’s 21 honorees for the inaugural Women Forward event, celebrating women making an impact across New Jersey.

From building Pooka Pure & Simple from the ground up to continuing to create, inspire, and pour into our community, this recognition means so much. Congratulations, Dawn! 💕👏🏾

A custom scent, made by him. ✨ @goldinmartinez stopped by Pooka, created his own signature blend, and named it Apple. 🍎

What would you name yours? 👀

FULL CIRCLE. 💛

@cityofeastorange East Orange is where it all started for me.
So having the opportunity to come back more than 25 years later and speak for the City of East Orange about entrepreneurship, perseverance, and my journey building Pooka was incredibly special.
I’ve had some amazing moments along this journey, but there’s something different about returning to the place where the dream first began—with a story you could have never imagined when you started.
I hope someone in that room walked away believing a little more in their own dream.
Because your beginning doesn’t have to be big.
You just have to BEGIN. ✨
Thank you, East Orange, for bringing me back home. 💛
