Melted a bit🫠 I was actually trying to make a no churn espresso straciatella but the chocolate was too warm as I was drizzling it into the espresso ice cream, making it into a mocha flavour. Turned out to be super rich and indulgent ☕️🍪 recently I tried a mango straciatella and oh my it was insane 👀 I need to experiment more!!

Birthday cake for a lovely friend. She chose a vanilla chiffon, mango passionfruit mousse filling, fresh mango chunks, and vanilla SMBC. She really wanted something with florals, baby pinks, white, and hints of green to matcha her beautiful outfit. So this is what came to be, absolutely loved creating this, it was so much fun💞🌸🤍

Cherry, cardamom & pistachio cake with a dollop of sweet vanilla mascarpone, cherry & blueberry compote, with a cherry on top of course 🍒🫐

The cake was so fragrant, it made the whole house smell incredible. It’s delicious enough to enjoy on its own, but the cherry & blueberry compote really elevates the cherry flavour. I love using seasonal fruit in cakes!!💌

Fraisier fail... turned into a makeshift trifle🍓

Not sure if it was the warm kitchen, my crème diplomat failing on me, or perhaps both! It literally dispersed everywhere the second I lifted the cake ring. Mind you, I even used acetate!! 😭

I can’t lie though, the taste of this completely distracted me from what had just happened. This was incredible!!Probably the best dessert I’ve had in a while.

This is a little different from your classic fraisier. It has a vanilla sponge layer, fresh strawberries, vanilla bean crème diplomat, a strawberry jelly layer, strawberry and rhubarb compote (my first time trying rhubarb, and it was exceptional, it balanced all the sweetness so well!) and lastly, a jasmine tea infused whipped cream.🌸

disasters happen, especially when it’s your first time trying something. Baking is all about learning, and not every dessert will turn out exactly the way you envision it and that’s okay.🤍
