He"s back! Yay! The dogs and coyotes didn't eat him. The crusted snow last year didn't kill him. Boo. His coat isn't shiney and his hair is matted on his hind legs.

Warren spotted him about 2 weeks ago. I had only seen him once since then... cutting across in front of my truck when I was driving into the sun. Whew. Thank goodness, I didn't hit him.

I still have the goat treats in my truck. If I keep seeing him, I'll get more hay and maybe some goat minerals.

I really wish I knew what kind of goat he is. by @dawnrae64

There was a young lady, asking ppl to show their favorite rocks. And she shared hers. By the time I got my photo resized, instagram scrolled away. 😞

One of my favorite recent finds... this full, fossilized clam... bivalve?... gastropod? Couldn't believe I found it.

I'm still trying to learn new things and do small projects. Micro small someday. Today, I picked my Goldenrod and got it into a jar...my first attempt at medicinal tincture.

Wolly Worm Winter Weather Forecast. Well folks, I've always heard that the amount of red or black on a wolly worm predicts winter severity (or mildness). I've been fairly skeptical of the belief.

HOWEVER , when a wolly worm appears, firmly carrying a molted feather from the chickens, and is climbing up my front door jamb trying to get inside... I'm a little worried!!

I'm laughing on the outside. A little scared on the inside.

Do you believe in the Wolly Worm Predictions?

TGIF !! I may sleep and/or crochet the entire weekend away. This is HDC neckline (coal) with Tunisian crochet (mountain shale) merino yarn by @companionfiber The little gold stripe (woodrow) makes me happy. I hope I successfully turn this yarn into a rectangle shawl for myself.

I have not been productive with anything this year. But... I still want to encourage others that no matter how bumpy things are, never give up completely.

Look at these mini bell peppers growing in my greenstalk. I've never really successfully grown peppers before. This little bell pepper tastes pretty good. QUESTION: how to know when to pick a pepper? I don't know if this is fully ripe. But it is edible and tasty. I think this is a seed that produces yellow, red, and green peppers but I can't remember.

Happy Birthday to me (on the 5th). My son and daughter-in-law sent an adorable metal sign. It is perfect for my plans to make a desk area my Ham Station. And I received a cable organizer thingie from @vfoust00 that I won in a giveaway. (That photo of Vaughn is perfection! Haha) by @dawnrae64

Yesterday was a fabulous day. A hike and my first attempt at POTA. Warren was my only contact on the 2m radio. But I learned how to set up my antenna and log that contact. West Virginia is so pretty. Love the rocks and views. by @dawnrae64
