Last Hamptons beach day for 2026, aka the saddest day of the year! Summer flew by. It’s time to return to the city and look forward to crisp autumn days. Here’s hoping NYC has a mild winter.

It’s been a slow whale-sighting summer, but this afternoon a lone whale took a slow lap close to the shore, delighting everyone

And just like that, it is back to the high-sixties in the morning. How is summer almost over?

We pulled in for an early Sunday dinner after a day of golf & beach. How many meals have I eaten at Lunch/Lobster Roll? Hundreds? Once/week x early May-end of Sept x decades = i don’t even want to guess. But I can safely say it’s my go-to. Never disappoints.

How is it already August? We’re entering peak beach season. Took a walk and saw beloved piping plovers and this adorable dog watching her family frolick in the ocean.
