✨🏳️‍🌈Ignite 2025🏳️‍🌈✨

A month later, and finally posting about my favourite part of @physipole Ignite finals - the physifam! I’m still so stoked to have received the Audience Choice award. A few people have messaged me about how much my routine meant for them, and nothing could make me prouder. I’ll be here standing up for 🏳️‍🌈 rights as long as I live 💖

There’s so much that goes into competing and I don’t think any of us could do it without the support of our instructors, class mates, fellow competitors and our friends and family.

I’ve said a lot of thank yous to my fam that live at the studio, but I’d also like to say some big thank yous to the physifam that aren’t quite furniture (yet) 😜

To @tylerrr.r , thank you for running around after me every comp handling all the last minute shenanigans, from buying sharpies to grabbing hoops to making sure I’ve actually eaten on the day. You’ve never missed a performance yet and I hope you never do 💖 To the Council for listening to years of my comp stress and rambles and especially to @cobycerena and @tahliavr for coming to watch. My mum won’t see this, but she’s also been a huge supporter. I hope I made you all proud!

✨🏳️‍🌈Ignite 2025 - The Routine🏳️‍🌈✨

I can honestly say this routine was the most fun I’ve ever had performing and one of the most meaningful routines I’ve done. Of course, like any routine, there’s a lot of people to thank.

To @mjnolan.creative for adding any trick I wanted to my conditioning so that I was consistently training them and encouraging me (despite my whinging), to @calyssaunicorn for spending the hours fine tuning this routine and for your belief in me, and of course to @lifeispole for always supporting me and my chaos. Without my wonderful instructors, I’d never have taken the stage - much less in a national comp!

To @donnadoesaerials for being my buddy through it all, making sure I didn’t pull out (bc I wasn’t about to let you pull out 😤) and enjoying each of our 3 min photoshoots 😜. To @mishka.bedford and @alicia_llama for your lifesaving prop help and to the Slaysbury physifam 💖

✨🏳️‍🌈Ignite 2025🏳️‍🌈✨

Finally jumping on the Ignite train with some stunning shots from @dancecaptures 💖 I’m so so so proud of this routine and so excited to share more from this amazing weekend ✨

After @donnadoesaerials and I reframed our routines as a “three minute photoshoot” to make it less daunting to get on the big stage, I’m so thrilled at how amazing these came out 🤣 swipe to the last for one of the funniest gremlin images I’ve ever seen of myself 😜

Caption straight from the showcase program: After spending a year trading romance novel recommendations back and forth like a hockey puck, was this routine inspired by the world’s current favourite book boyfriends an inevitability? They think so, probably. Yes.

(The real enemies to lovers journey was Donna and Rachel and each other’s preferred apparatus.) by @dawntoduskpole

Ya’ll knew it was coming 🤣

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for my pole and aerials community 🥰 the support, the laughs, the hugs and of course the ass shaking is something I treasure so dearly. Here’s to more in 2026!
