When we visited, there was some rocks that helped our trek across the shallow, rushing stream. If you can… do that - your view is more unobstructed. Getting away from the crowd and this as your view… is a majestic vibe. One note, waterproof gear or a poncho is vital to enjoy and not rush your visit.

☕️ The cutest coffee shop in a school bus! The manager on duty is a cat but sometimes takes randoms days off, so we missed meeting them.

TikTok did its job and we had to visit! The weather was wet and freezing when we visited but the crepes were worth it. Your options were: ham & cheese, Nutella & banana or pesto, olive & mozzarella. 10/10 recommend.

The way I could have sat and watched this for hours… but Iceland had too many more sights for us to see!

🐳 Strokkur, near Geysir in Haukadalur Valley

Fun Facts:
🔥 The water spouted is typically 80-100ºC
⏰ Strokkur erupts roughly every 8-10 minutes
😳…and can shoot water into the air up to 100 feet
😵 Great Geysir is currently dormant, but he’s the OG!
🥵 While Geysir is dormant, it’s base temp is around 250ºC

Iceland Day 1 🇮🇸

Took an early flight from Luton and started exploring!

💧Visited Seljalandsfoss, a 200-foot-tall waterfall
🚢 Traveled south to Landeyjahöfn and took the ferry to Heimaey Island
⛺️ Cute Airbnb in Herjólfsdalur
🐧 Went to the southern part of the island, Fuglaskoðunarhús (lundar) to find puffins! And even went back at 11PM (1050PM in the pic! 😳) to see even more! There were thousands of them as they come back to nestle in their little burrows in the morning and at sunset.

The real question is, how many Puffin posts is too many? 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

London Day 5 🇬🇧

Caught Peter Pan’s shadow at The Shard as we enjoyed tea 🫖 And a last minute visit to Selfridges & Co before hopping on a train to Luton for an early flight the next day.
