For a long time, I kept my love for makeup pretty quiet 🤫 not because I didn’t enjoy it, but because I was afraid of being perceived as someone I’m not before anyone actually took the time to know me. I’ve always loved art, fantasy, anime, and creating things, but makeup became a way for me to put that creativity directly onto myself. Last year, while taking care of my brother during his battle with brain cancer and hospice care, I found myself reconnecting with that creative side of me in a way I hadn’t in years. It was an incredibly dark chapter of my life, but creating these looks gave me a small space where I could express something, experiment, and feel like myself again. This is my first time really sharing one of those looks, and honestly, it feels like more than just makeup; it feels like letting a part of myself be seen. I’m still figuring out exactly where this side of my creativity will take me, but I know I don’t want to hide it anymore. Elf from the south side of the woods.

(Mind you this was after a long day so not too much lol in the future I want to add more jewelry, magic sigil eyeliner, & more florals.)

For the makeup I used @madebymitchell curve case “Deep” & the Electric Color Case by @madebymitchell as well. First time using them and the pigments are so vibrant even without a white/light base.

I love a good dewy face, don’t you? I don’t mind looking a little moist. I actually think extra sheen looks healthy and kind of hot. My biggest insecurity is definitely skin texture, though.
