I originally got an embroidery machine so that I could make my friends and family gifts. I’ve gotten to do that a lot over the last few months, but this is by far my most special one.

Growing up, my dad’s parents carried around handkerchiefs everywhere. I held onto as many as I could find after they passed. When Annsley got engaged, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with one of them.

Her “something blue” - love notes from each grandparent in their handwriting. They couldn’t all be with us like we wish they could in these milestone moments, but it helped having something from them to hold onto.
