Here we go again.

The Soraya Divider Handbag pattern from @ororosapatterns was just so good that I couldn’t resist sewing up another one. (Spoiler alert- I also have one in the works coming soon).

But let’s get back to focusing on this one shall we. It looks so amazing with a print feature as well. This floral from @cottonandtwirls was a match made in heaven with the gorgeous fuchsia solid from @indolovekreation. I need more fuchsia in my life.

Now I have to get back to the sewing room because I can’t wait to share my next one.

Calling it a good day!

My sewjo is back. There is just something about that feeling of sewing up a new to me pattern for the first time that can’t be beat. It’s the combination of “I’m done” plus “I totally made that”.

When @erica.lavenderandtwine puts out a new pattern it’s going to be a must make for me. They are a guaranteed win and The Reverdie Bag was no exception. It’s a color blocking dream, and how amazing does this mora faux leather from @emmalinebags look with this geo print from @cottonandtwirls? Love, love, love!

Strap in everyone, I finished a new bag!

Confession- I actually have had this bag all sewn together since July….with the exception of just the strap. Sigh….this is why we should always sew our strap first Bobbi! I know better.

In my defense with this amazing color combo (blue and orange were meant to be together) I knew I was going to be saving this bag for fall anyway but I am so happy I can post it now.

Also I almost never use contrast thread but with this little two tone beauty it was a necessity. I absolutely love how it came out.

This pattern is the Soraya Divider Handbag from @ororosapatterns - it is so unique and cute! I call it the two face bag.

Denim days.

Another adorable bag here- apparently on a cutesy journey right now. I love anything denim, and this print from @cottonandtwirls is extra sweet with the pink floral.

This was my first time sewing the Zenaida backpack from @ororosapatterns and I loved it so much. Did you all know this was the first pattern they had written? I was surprised to hear that, but having made other Oro Rosa patterns before it’s not a surprise that even their first pattern was so great.

Needless to say Gracie claimed this one super fast- she barely even gave me a chance to finish it!

Can anyone ever really have too many purple bucket bags?

The answer is no. And this one is especially adorable with this ombre gingham print from @cottonandtwirls. It paired so sweetly with this purple vinyl from @tulipbeeofficial.

The Marzia Bucket bag pattern from @kaurthreads is such a fun sew and as soon as I saw @the.crafty.reporter make her simplified version I know I had to make one as well. The verdict is in - it looks amazing both with and without pockets!

The Donut Hole is the newest sewing pattern release from @knottedthreadsco and much like the delicious sweet treat they are impossible to resist.

It’s such a great pattern to be able to add a customization for a special gift. My daughter just discovered Hunger Games so of course I had to make her one as tribute (see what I did there?)

It’s perfect for scraps as well, or featuring a part of print like the Rifle Paper Co Alice in Wonderland here and the Charley Harper print. I love them all.

I cannot wait to see what everyone does with this one. Shannon has really filled a “hole” in the sewing world with this release. Ok I will stop with the bad puns so you can get to sewing.

Bucket List meet the Marzia Bucket Bag!

I don’t think I could be more excited about the new pattern release from @kaurthreads. She’s cute, she’s fun, she is the moment.

I made this one back in fall and feel like I have been holding onto the best secret, but now that the pattern is released I can’t wait to see everyone’s Marzia’s in my feed. If you have ever wanted to sew a bucket bag, this would be my top recommendation. Sandeep has thought of everything.

Also side note do you see two purples here or a purple and pink? I say two purples but my kids say purple and pink. Either way, these vinyl colors from @tulipbeeofficial make me feel all mystical magical.

Thanks, I made it!

Those are the words I would say if I ever had to return to office because I just know I would be getting all the compliments on this new laptop bag.

And as a maker aren’t those the most satisfying words to say?! I love the look of shock that usually goes across the other persons face. Such a confidence boost!

This was my first time sewing a Shamballa Bag pattern and I love the end result of the Rachelle bag. I was a little scared at first with all the pieces and details, but it comes together so well.

You know I had to go all purple on this one because it will be my laptop bag. I’m especially obsessed with that lace vinyl!

So even though I don’t ever want to return to office I wouldn’t mind a day visit to show off this beauty (but just one).

So fresh and so spring 🌺

The #adenashoulderbag from @knottedthreadsco has to be the best bag for featuring a large print like this amazing floral print from @cottonandtwirls . And let’s talk about that side view- never gets old!

This pattern is another one of those trust the process sewing projects, which makes that end result so much more satisfying.

If you are looking for a big bag this one is high on my list!!

If a bag was to personify “I like long walks on the beach” it would be this one.

Some of my favorite sewing patterns are the trust the process ones. The ones that you know are going to turn out great, but you can’t wrap your mind around the how until you start sewing.

@erica.lavenderandtwine sewing patterns never make me doubt that trust, and this #samaranbag was no exception. I knew I was going to love it, but I had no idea how much. I would definitely swipe right.

Snowy days and lavender haze.

We have been heavier on the snow the last few weeks and I am not a fan. I hate being cold more than anything. One thing I can appreciate about the snow though is that it makes for a mandatory life slow down. No school pickups, can’t leave the house- it’s like the world is telling you to take this moment for yourself.

I used this opportunity to sew up another #raynasling from @lindshandmade. It was a perfect snow day sewing project.

A 2026 sewing goal for me is to use up materials that I have been saving because they seem too special to cut into. I am determined to start using all of those materials up because life doesn’t wait for us.

First up was is amazing print from @luvlolalooks. I love me a purple bag so much. Of course, perfect webbing match can be found from @georgiagirlstitches.

Sometimes we just need a little color mood booster in our lives.

I’m usually a purple girl all the way, but I have to admit this pink #simplisticsling is making me super happy. That bright color combined with the geometric floral print is just so satisfying.

I’m going to have to incorporate more bright pinks into my future bags. Maybe it will help spring come early, because I am already ready for it.
