DAYPARTY | KOTA KINABALU | 1st AUG 2026

Maybe it’s the way a song can take you straight back to a moment — a first love, a long drive, a summer that felt like it would never end. The 90s and 2000s gave us some of the greatest love songs ever written, and for one beautiful day in KK City, we got to live inside those songs together.

DayParty R&B Edition was more than a party. It was a reunion of souls who grew up on the same melodies. Strangers became friends over shared verses. The dance floor became a time machine. And for a few hours, nothing mattered except the music and the moment.

This aftermovie captures all of it — the laughter, the harmonies, the energy, the love. Every frame is a piece of KK City history.

Thank you for singing with us. Thank you for trusting us with your Sunday. Thank you for making the first one unforgettable. 🤎

DAYPARTY R&B Edition Episode 1: The Beginning.

Countless memories, one unforgettable day.

We’re kicking off our DayParty R&B Edition photo series with the moments that started it all. The arrival, the first beats, and the first smiles.

This was more than a party. This was a movement. And we’re so grateful to every single one of you who showed up and made it real.

This right here? THIS is why we do it!

DJ Irwan brought the heat straight from Amsterdam and you brought the energy.

Watch the crowd. Feel the vibe. This was the first 4 hours of our DayParty, and honestly? It was everything.

This is just the beginning. We’re already planning what’s next.

Thank you for dancing with us. Thank you for trusting us. And thank you for making this moment real.

Left Kuala Lumpur in the early morning, played a soldout @daypartykk, partied with some amazing people, watched a beautiful sunset right from my dj booth, and was back home the very same night 🙏🏼

Huge thanks to DAYPARTY KK for having me, I had the best time, let’s do this more often! 🙌

Who was there? 👀

For 4 beautiful hours, we watched our dream come to life. You danced. You laughed. You made DAYPARTY feel like home.

And then, a power surge changed everything.

We know those last 2 hours fell short. We know you deserved a proper ending. And we know an apology alone can’t undo the disappointment.

But please know this: we see you. We hear you. And we are determined to make this right.

This was our first IP. We took a leap, and we stumbled at the finish line. But we are not giving up. We’re already planning how to rebuild your trust and deliver what we promised.

To every single person who came, supported, and believed in us—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the reason we’ll keep going.

Stay tuned for Vol. 2 coming to you very soon. We’ll be back with something special for you.

With gratitude and sincerity,
Team 6un9a
