I have been searching through my mind and heart trying to figure out why this “graduation” doesn’t feel like what society tells me it should. They tell me it should feel like promotion, more money, the next level. If anything that walk across the stage felt like “join the club, keep building.” I am surrounded by people who go beyond “the norm” which makes going higher the standard. And sometimes that looks like breathing in what is now and believing for what’s next. I do know I am here because I chose to put one foot in front of the other. Sometimes for me…for my parents…for my grandparents…for expectations’ sake. By God’s divine hand, I am here. Not because I am smarter than you. Because God is good. What I am sure of is God wrote our story. So even this is the beginning of the next step in His book for my life. A story I’m not in control of even when I think I am. So what will I continue to do with this life He’s given me? GRADUATE. taken in The Master's Degree by @daysiasymone

25 Septembers. So much fun. So many laughs. So many tears. Deep revelations. Goofy, pointless jokes. Walk and talks with God. Time with amazing people. Heart full. Unearned gifts. Feet planted. Lessons learned. Trespasses forgiven. Moment to moment. Growth. T H A N K Y O U G O D. by @daysiasymone
