Food tip: In the heart of Cilento, @osteriadelconvento in Cuccaro Vetere is a place where history and passion come together. Housed in the cloister of a 14th-century Franciscan convent, it was lovingly restored by Alberto and Maria Chiara, who left their life in Milan to bring this treasure back to life.

Here, every dinner is an experience: the menu changes daily, always inspired by Cilento’s seasons, traditions, and the ingredients grown in the convent’s own garden. 🌿🍷

🚤✨ We explored the breathtaking Baia degli Infreschi with @palinuro_porto — a 4-hour boat trip from the port of Palinuro that takes you along hidden coves, crystal-clear waters, and untouched corners of the Cilento Coast 🌊💙

From the famous Blue Grotto of Marina di Camerota to the turquoise heart of Infreschi Bay, every stop feels like stepping into a secret paradise ☀️. The tour costs €50 per person and it’s far from the usual tourist crowds — a truly authentic way to discover one of Italy’s most beautiful marine protected areas 🐚🇮🇹.

Italian bufale having their me-time 🧖🏼‍♀️ 📍 @tenutavannulo

At Tenuta Vannulo, buffaloes live in full respect of animal welfare, the land, and those who care for it.
They roam freely, graze on estate-grown forage, are milked at their own pace, and treated only with natural remedies. Spacious barns with mats, showers, and brushes ensure their comfort every day. They don’t import their mozzarella or other products, and you can only buy them directly from them. Production is small-scale: cows are milked only when needed, with no artificial insemination.

*always check where your mozzarella comes from and try finding producers like this one, that treat their animals with respect 🤍

** of course this isn’t how the industrial production looks like unfortunately. This tenuta should be considered an amazing example of how cheese and diaries can actually be produced with the animals’ wellbeing at its core. 🏛️ Paestum – Home to ancient Greek temples that rise majestically from the plains like timeless guardians of history.
🏰 Agropoli – A charming seaside town crowned by a medieval castle overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.
🌊 Sapri – A peaceful coastal gem where golden sands meet crystal-clear waters at the edge of Campania.
⛵️ Palinuro & Marina Di Camerota – Famous for their dramatic cliffs, sea caves, and sunsets that set the horizon on fire.
🐠 Baia degli Infreschi – A secluded bay of turquoise waters framed by rugged nature, reachable only by boat or hiking.
🏖️ Acciaroli – A picturesque fishing village beloved for its colorful harbor and slow, authentic Mediterranean life.

Of course there is much more to see in Cilento so we can’t wait to go back to explore more areas and the inland as well ✨
