If it’s not the jungle that takes me out, it’ll definitely be these kids 😅🤣

I don’t know about you guys but when I wake up my mind immediately runs through a list of things that need to get done and then I’m almost frozen in bed with all of those overwhelming thoughts. Once I finally peel myself off the pillow, I HAVE to entrust it all to God with a short prayer. Then my morning ritual follows: reading my devotional, jotting down an intention for the day and then prioritizing a few things on my agenda. ✍🏾

Now everyday doesn’t go that smoothly but at this point I know I neeed some quiet time so that I can show up for my kids and myself with compassion and patience. Sometimes my quiet time isn’t until lunch or when I force them to take their naps - but it’s gotta happen.

Leave it to me to put together last minute birthday plans that involve a rigorous 6 mile hike with over 10 creek crossings. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Luckily, after physically (and mentally) putting my friends through the ultimate test in the wilderness 😅😂 we did have a nice ass cabin to reward ourselves and recuperate.

Thank you guys for indulging my nature loving self and being down for the adventure!

We jumped over the camera at home… and landed in Destin, Florida. 😂🌴✈️

First time in Destin and babyyyy, we had a TIME! 💃🏾🌊☀️

We did a lot, laughed even more, enjoyed each other, and added a whole new set of stories to the family memory bank.

That’s the part I love most. ❤️

Three generations of Evans.
In the same place.
At the same time.
Making memories we’ll be talking about for YEARS.
