BIXARIA is an Amsterdam-based Queer Brazilian Club Night creating space for shaking all the r4bas.

GE TO KNOW:
Marvin, aka DAZLBØY, is a DJ and multi-artist born and raised in the east side end of São Paulo, Brazil. He's witnessed various transformations in the Baile Funk scene and now based in London, he aims to bring his experiences to the streets with the hottest strands of Baile Funk, blending with Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Ghetto Tech, Latin Core and Y2K pop and hip hop hit remixes in fast rhythms vibes like jersey club, Drum’n Bass and UKG.

Get ready for a sonic ride that captures the essence of the streets and the energy of the underground scene.

This is a space centered on immigr4nts, activists, BIPOC queers, experimental and dissent bodies. We don’t assume gender or orientation, and we’re not focused on how anyone looks. You are queer enough.
Expect Brazilian Funk, Brega Funk, Techno Brega, Brazilian House, Dembow and beyond. DJs, performances, MCs and you.

Each edition has a theme, so feel free to dress up and embody it with us.
Come alone, arrive early, make friends.

EDITION: The Dog Sucking a Mango
A sign that appears when reality cracks.
An impossible image that opens a doorgate.
The collapse of shame and fear.
The end of the war against the body.
You don’t need permission.
You don’t need to be saved.
