welcomes Christoffer Berg (Hird), together with Bryan Lambert & Robin FX, at Ivan's Pilsnerbar, Gothenburg.

Hird
Christoffer Berg has run his deep house alias Hird since the late 1990s, close to three decades of warm, jazz inflected house drawing on Detroit beatdown, UK trip-hop and the Svek lineage of Scandinavian house. Hird's latest release, "Moving Forward Backwards," came out earlier this year, including a recent remix by Alexi Delano aka ADNY (SVEK).

Beyond Hird, Christoffer is one of Sweden's most respected studio hands, with production and mixing credits including The Knife, Fever Ray, Depeche Mode, Cut Copy and Little Dragon. When not in the studio, he runs LoveWithinSound, a DIY hi-fi sound system project built in the spirit of David Mancuso's Loft ethos, and is part of Gothenburg's Pluto Station collective alongside Robin FX.

Bryan Lambert
Bryan's love for the dance floor was formed as a teenager in the eclectic music scene and nightlife of Austin, Texas. His style is rooted in the experimentation and creativity of the 70s and 80s, the optimism and messages of unity from the golden era of the late 80s and early 90s, and stays open and expanding to new sounds. Here in Göteborg, Bryan helps host events with Christoffer's LoveWithinSound and Robin's Tvåstegsprogrammet, and is a regular musical host at Gurras.

Robin FX
A multidisciplinary romantic at heart, Robin founded the Pluto Station collective in Gothenburg in 2021, after returning home from a decade-long dance music love affair in Berlin. Today he runs Tvåstegsprogrammet: 1) Kom 2) Dansa, a swiftly celebrated public club concept and a slow-burning movement hosted around the city, using the dancefloor to connect Gothenburg audiences with the music, culture, and history of electronic dance music.

Rumor has it Christoffer and Robin are building a new record label together, so expect a little preview of what's to come.

Free entry before 22:00.

We’re back next week Saturday 18th with another liminal gathering.

Saddle up: it's time for Gothenburg to meet the newest jockey in the stable, the eclectic Aavik. Aavik has spent the last 25 years playing records around the world at legendary clubs such as Bar 25 in Berlin and Socialroom in Hong Kong. He is also one of the creators of Wasteland Gagnef, the club collective Dromedar and also runs the record label Taiga Riviera.

Also on the night, a quite new but avidly developing DJ: LJÓM, who hooked us with her latest recording from the Ankali Club in Prague.

On warm-up duties this night, together with Tvåstegsprogrammet's head honcho Robin Fx, we've got our favourite Texican, Bryan Lambert.
