A little class etiquette goes a long way ✨
Here are a few ways to keep the studio experience mindful + welcoming for everyone:

– Arrive a few minutes early to settle in ⏰
– Leave your shoes outside the heated room 👣
– Silence your phone + be present 📵
– Wipe down your space after class 🧼
– Be kind to yourself + others 💛

We’re all in this together. Let’s move with intention + respect.

Who says fall has to mean cold weather?!

Y’all know beach yoga is one of our favorites, and this time of year makes it THAT much better. The perfect weather, the prettiest fall colors, and a little DB style 🐚

Come see us at the boutique this weekend and shop all the new arrivals! 🩵

Chelsea moved to Morehead City from Quantico, Virginia, at the end of 2015 after being honorably discharged from the Navy!

With her husband stationed at Cherry Point, she was excited to finally call the beach home.

More than a decade later, Chelsea and her family have planted roots here, welcoming a sweet baby, two dogs, and a cat along the way!

Chelsea joined DB in the summer of 2025, when she was just three months postpartum. The health benefits, fun, and camaraderie keep her coming back. Her only regret? Not starting sooner!

ONE WORD CHELSEA USES TO DESCRIBE DB:

SWEATY! 🩵

A little Monday motivation from the Let’s GLOW Girls class 💥

Because who says a good workout can’t come with a little extra chaos?! With the Holidays creeping up, y’all know that means more themes coming your way 👀 We love a good theme, consider yourselves warned!

Here’s to another week of moving our bodies, making memories, and finding every excuse to have FUN while doing it! 💚

When schedules get full it can feel hard to fit a full workout into your busy day.

This circuit provides an easy way to get a total body workout in from anywhere

Complete this circuit 3-5x through doing 10-20 reps of each exercise (on each side)

You can incorporate the weights or even do everything unweighted - your choice!!

Have a good weekend and I’ll meet y’all at the barre💋 by @dbarremhc

A little gloomy outside with a whole lot of GOODDD inside ☔️

The sweet girl in the brown set heard us raving about the new flares we just hung, and walked right out with the whole fit! SO CUTE. The studio is flourishing with fall colors and we just love seeing you!

And PAUSE before you spot that mock neck and scream 🫣. They are not back in stock just yet, but we’re expecting them in the next couple of weeks!!! Stay tuned for an official restock date. We know y’all are as ready as us!

What started as a vision has grown into something so much bigger than a workout! A community built on connection, confidence, and showing up for one another. This recognition means so much to us, and we couldn’t have done it without every member, instructor, and supporter who has been part of the journey.

Thank you for believing in Downtown Barre and being part of something special. This is just the beginning. 🤍

HUGE news this a.m.. DB Mock Necks have entered the chat 🚨🚨🚨

If you see body parts lying around, it’s just because Susan was so excited for these and our new arrivals that we had to rearrange.

Y’all already know we’re loving the feel of these… and THAT BLUE?! 🩵 Come in to shop the new new!

Not to call you out (but you know that coffee is pricey).

But seriously… that’s only IF you want 25. Whether you’re an everyday person, a couple times a week, or a whenever I can make it gal, there’s an option for you. Pick the number of classes that fits your life on the app, and we’ll see you at the barre. 🩵

Because nothing is that serious. Except maybe booking your favorite spot before it fills. 🤫

Speechless after this morning, you guys. 🩷

The energy you all showed up with, the money raised for this cause, and the STRONG women who filled that porch…
No words other than so much love and praise for this absolutely amazing community. You showed UP this morning! For yourselves, for each other, and for something so much bigger than the workout.

THIS is community. LET’S KEEP MAKING PINK JUST A COLOR 🎀
