Low Eyes/Low Hands

✅Patient at LOS
✅Active feet
✅Keep eyes low
✅Keep leverage
✅React, plant, point, accelerate
✅Make a play on the ball

Mac did a great job at holding leverage and staying patient at the LOS. Keeping eyes down at the Wrs hips at the break point while being explosive out of his transition before looking back to make a play on the ball! This is a TEACHTAPE‼️📕📝

Focus Points:
Step Replace
Don’t get too wide when you are stepping and replacing
Don’t Retreat

Steeler’s Traffic Drill

Great drill to help both Wr & Dbs locate the ball in traffic! This is good to pair with your basic db transitions!
-Make sure that your Dbs are snapping their eyes to the Wr to before getting their eyes back to QB
- USE YOUR HANDS
-Full extension
-Drive through the ball

Flip & Find Drill

⭕️ Accelerate the Speed turn to find the Wr out the backside
⭕️ Don’t widen backwards
⭕️ Keep a low front shoulder

Being able to relax when the receiver gets in your blindspot is big when guarding wr in many different coverages! Being able to understand the DB’s weak point and where the receivers trying to get to will help you guard these weak points?

Could Chad played corner in NFL?

Some of the best things I loved about Chad’s game is that his mentality, his personality, and the way he attacked everyone he lined up against! He is one of the most competitive guys out there! I know I think he could have transitioned to the defensive side of the ball and not only done it but at a high level! What you guys think?!

What would you correct here from the corner position?!
