Day 20 - BONUS CONTENT - After an unexpected extra night on our trip we were able to spend a big portion of the day in London. First stop was Primark to buy some clean clothes. Wandered through Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square with a brief stop at the Lego shop. Walked down to the London Eye. Jules had to do some convincing that this was actually a great idea. Spectacular views on a very hot sunny day in London. We passed through Waterloo for a quick bite and then visited Jules' old workplace, Harrods. A lot has changed in 28 years! All through airport security now so anxiously waiting for the next leg on our journey home. taken in London, England by @dbeckitt

Day 19 - Sadly our flight to Heathrow was delayed by 4 hours and we ended up missing our connecting flight. The next flight wasn't for another 24 hours so now we're in London for the day. We will be making sure to get back to Heathrow in plenty of time for tonight's flight! taken in London, England by @dbeckitt

Day 18 - Last full day. We left the beautiful Cameron House on a perfect sunny morning to visit Stirling Castle. What an amazing place! After returning our hire car we spent the rest of the day in Edinburgh, ending up at a local restaurant for some Scottish fare + a folk duo. taken in Edinburgh, United Kingdom by @dbeckitt

Day 17 - Left Fort William this morning for Cameron House at Loch Lomond. Started a little cloudy as we visited the Three Sisters in Glencoe, but was beautiful by the time we stopped for morning tea in Killin. A lovely little town with cute waterfalls. Of course we found some more hairy coos so had to stop and say hello. Probably the sunniest and warmest day we've had as we arrived at Cameron House in Loch Lomond. Definitely the fanciest place we've stayed so far. Julia has a family connection to this place (she's from the Cameron clan) so we're especially grateful to spend a little time here. The whisky bar also helps 😉 by @dbeckitt

Day 16 - Said a sad farewell to the Isle of Skye on a very rainy morning. The ferry crossing to Mallaig was nice and smooth though so we were quickly on our way to the Glenfinnan Viaduct. HP fans may recognise this one. We then drove through to Fort William and spent a relaxing couple of hours at a local pub. Finishing the day at our hotel. We can't see Ben Nevis due to cloud cover but we have a pretty fantastic view over Loch Linnhe in the other direction. taken in Fort William, Lochaber, Scotland by @dbeckitt

Day 15 - Started the day hiking around the Fairy Glen. Then drove through the Quiraing and stopped at Kilt Rock. Went to look at the Old Man of Storr but the clouds had other ideas + there was zero parking available. Stopped for lunch at a lovely pub in Portree before more hiking at the Fairy Pools. A tasting at Talisker was next (and a nap in the car for Jules) before heading back to our accommodation at Uig Hotel via the Sligachan Bridge. Skye must be the most photogenic place on earth. Day 14 - Left Inverness for the Isle of Skye. Met some hairy coos, visited Loch Ness, stopped in at Eilean Donan Castle and had a beautiful drive through to our accommodation in Uig. taken in Isle of Skye by @dbeckitt
