A recent family fishing trip at whiskey town lake! I had to hop on and capture the moment 📸

This reel is meant to show the beauty at whiskey town lake and the skills of @thetrinityguide for putting us all on our limits with Kokanee even in these windy conditions… using @fishpaulinapeak tackle of course(;

But the bigger picture.. breathing the fresh mountain air, laughing, reeling in fish and moving forward in life because that’s what it’s all about! Everyday we get is a blessing and another chance. We were all taking this moment in with deep thoughts.. realizing that RJ’s accident (last year) almost took his life and he could have not been here… but he is! God has a bigger plan. Here he is reeling in fish with one working arm, a prosthetic leg and a damn good attitude, that’s strength! Get up and keep going! Push through the tough times and Surround yourself with the people you love and fish.. lots of fish!
