Too many moments to pick from but here are some snapshots of Otis. In some his favourite places/doing his favourite things. The space he has left in my life is hard to describe. He helped me in a lot of ways to be more patient caring and positive. These beats are the last 2 I made in his presence and they are in honour of Otis🕊 and J Dilla 🕊(1 is a refix of Time - Donut of the Heart) out Friday 28.7.23 All platforms…Bandcamp has a Hidden extra beat not on streaming or digital purchase platforms... taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @dbl_negative_music

2023 has tried to fuck me hard… I’m still here tho. Thought I’d celebrate with a beat tape with some of my favourites from this year. Digging for records and music keeps me sane big up to all my friends and family for their support. Link in bio ❤️ (it’s free) taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @dbl_negative_music

Firefly -Jeremy Steig. An overlooked classic imo. Jeremy is versatile af. Steve Gadd on drums Eric gale on guitar. Nice soulful a side with a more jazzy leaning b side. Solid 9/10 suits a relaxing afternoon according to Herbie…. taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @dbl_negative_music

Alphonse Mouzon - Virtue… A very funky record full of crazy bass lines and clav with some interesting fusion elements. The drumming is special! A couple of mellow moments on there too. I give it an 8/10 by @dbl_negative_music
