Sunday, I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy Oliver after 18 beautiful years together.

🐶Oliver was a little piece of my heart and my ride or die. From the day I brought him home, he was happy, gentle, and full of love. When I found out he was deaf as a puppy and the breeder wanted to put him down at just seven weeks old, I knew I had to keep him. And I’m so grateful I did, because he gave me 18 amazing years of unconditional love.

🐶Oliver was there through my hardest and saddest moments, never giving up on me for a second. He made me happy when my days were the hardest, and he brought comfort, joy, and love into my life every single day.

🐶We shared so many beautiful memories together, from Saeed’s first birthday to Oliver taking down her dada’s drone for Rania.

🦴He always kept his Titi Barbara company while recovering from surgery here at home with us, his cousins cuddled with “OVILER”during sleep Overs and mostly he was always right where he belonged—by my side.

🐶He was the sweetest, most gentle dog ever, and he left this world like the champ he was.

My heart is broken, but I will forever be thankful for every moment we shared. His love will never be forgotten. He will always be my ride or die, my partner in crime, and I will always hold him close in my heart.

Happy Birthday to my other half! 🎂🎉❤️

I still smile when I think about the summers we spent building blanket forts in the living room, whispering secrets long after we were supposed to be asleep, and laughing until our stomachs hurt. Growing up with you made my childhood so much brighter, and those little moments are some of my favorite memories of all time. I’m so grateful for every memory we’ve created and for the special bond we share.

I appreciate you more than words can say, and I feel so lucky to celebrate another birthday with you today. I hope your day is filled with love, happiness, laughter, and everything you deserve.

Happy Birthday to my amazing sister-in-law! If you know her, you know she’s the kind of person who will always be there when you need her. She’s loyal, dependable, and never afraid to tell it like it is. Whether you want the truth or not, she’s going to give it to you straight—and honestly, that’s one of the many reasons I appreciate her.
She has raised two incredible daughters who I absolutely adore, and seeing the love, strength, and values she has passed on to them makes me admire her even more.

Today marks 18 years that my baby boy and I have been together. Happy 18th Birthday to the dog who has brought me so much joy and has stood faithfully by my side through every up and down life has thrown my way.

When I first brought him home, I soon discovered that he was born deaf. When I contacted the breeder, I was told to bring him back to be euthanized and that they would give me another dog instead. That was an absolute no. I fought to keep him, and it remains one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Eighteen years later, here we are—still together, still fighting, and still proving everyone wrong.

The last 12 days have been tough since his stroke, but my boy is a fighter, just like his mama. Every day he shows strength, determination, and the will to keep going. I have no doubt that he’ll continue to improve and be back up and running. We’re taking it one day at a time, and we’ll keep everyone posted on his progress.

For now, we’re celebrating a very special milestone.

My dearest Rania, performed at her dance concert this Saturday, and she was absolutely amazing. Watching her dance with such grace brought a huge smile to my face. She turned the end of what had been a very difficult and sad week into something joyful and filled with love.

After the performance, she came over and gave me the sweetest Tia hug. That simple gesture meant more to me than she could ever know and made me feel so much better.

What touched me even more was that, she sent me a message saying she was sorry I had such a tough week with Oliver and wanted me to know that if I needed someone to talk to, she was there for me.

Her maturity, kindness, and sensitivity at just 12 years old are truly priceless. I am so proud of the beautiful young lady she is becoming, and I feel incredibly blessed to have her in my life. ❤️#niecelove❤️ #dance #moksha by @dbpalacios
