Sunday afternoon just got a whole lot groovier!

Tomorrow, September 6, Moonalice rolls into Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA, for a Sunday matinee show — doors at noon, music at 1. It’s all ages, it’s in the afternoon, and the marching orders are simple: bring your dancing shoes.

Moonalice is the Bay Area ten-piece that turns a Sunday into a traveling love-and-peace revival. Lester Chambers of the Chambers Brothers out front, Pete Sears holding down the low end, Roger McNamee on guitar, plus Barry Sless, Jason Crosby, Grammy-winning drummer John Molo, Dylan Chambers, and the T Sisters. Psychedelic soul, rock-tinged Americana, and that unmistakable Moonalice chemistry. Expect “Time Has Come Today,” Dead-adjacent jams, and a room full of people who showed up ready to move.

And yes — every attendee walks out with this fantastic free limited-edition poster by Darrin Brenner. That’s the Moonalice tradition: you come for the music, you leave with art. Darrin’s piece is the official commemorative for this matinee, so if you’re in the hall, it’s yours.

Love, peace, and happiness in the afternoon. Woo woo. See you in Mill Valley! 🌙💃🕺 by @dbrennerart
