The 53rd edition of Clamor a Dios brought worship music, prayer and messages of faith to the Puerto Rico Capitol grounds in San Juan, where the congregation remained through a heavy downpour during the four-hour-plus program.

JF Sound Corp. deployed an all-dBTechnologies VIO loudspeaker system to cover an outdoor audience area approximately 300 feet wide and 300 feet deep.

System designer and FOH engineer Juan Fuentes configured
• 24 VIO L1610 modules across two main arrays and two out-fill hangs
supported by:
• 4 × VIO L1608 front fills
• 8 × VIO S218 subwoofers
• 4 × VIO X206 truss-mounted stage fills
• 4 × VIO W12T coaxial stage monitors

Aurora Net provided real-time monitoring and control of EQ, delay and levels from front of house—a coordinated deployment addressing audience coverage and stage monitoring for a large outdoor worship production.

Its acoustic section pairs two low-frequency drivers with a true coaxial mid-high section, creating three working elements within one compact cabinet. The system crosses over at 1,900 Hz and produces a controlled 90° × 60° coverage pattern.

The dual-10-inch NONA 210 provides 39% more low-frequency radiating surface than a single 12-inch woofer. The dual-12-inch NONA 212 provides 28% more than a single 15-inch woofer. VIO on the Super Girl Surf Circuit

Celebrating 20 years in 2026, the Super Girl Surf Festival expanded to three cities, with dBTechnologies VIO supporting two stops: the series’ inaugural Virginia Beach event and the 20th annual Oceanside festival.

For Virginia Beach, new dBTechnologies VIO partner Cardon Audio Productions designed and deployed the main PA with support from Shadow Mountain Productions and Media Minds.

The beachfront system combined:
• Two 10-module VIO L1610 main arrays
• Flown VIO S118 subwoofers
• Ten ground-deployed VIO S218 subwoofers
• Four VIO L1608 front fills

Together, the system covered an audience area approximately 200 feet wide and 500 feet deep for three days of sports and 22 free concerts featuring Switchfoot, CeeLo Green, Lupe Fiasco, Gym Class Heroes, B.o.B. and more.

“The system sounded phenomenal. The throw from the L1610s was really impressive, and you could feel the subwoofers all the way down the beach.”

dBTechnologies returned to Lucca Music Festival with large scale VIO Series line array systems deployed by the festival’s trusted sound partner, TEMA Show Service, across the city’s challenging historic venues, including Piazza Napoleone and the Mura Storiche – providing visiting performing artists, engineers and technical production teams the consistency and confidence to perform.

Collaboration with visiting engineers is a key part of dBTechnologies’ approach to system deployment and product development. “We love to log feedback, which is important for product and software development, and interact with engineers who use multiple PA systems in different situations to see how we can make their lives easier.”

The festival provided an opportunity to demonstrate the latest iteration of dBTechnologies’ Aurora Net software, which incorporates several new features, including subwoofer tilt. “Also the new arc-array capabilities also help us deliver smooth results for the sides of the venue. The software’s ability to change the settings of the speakers at the touch of a button saves a lot of time for engineers.”
"It’s an interesting and difficult venue, it's a square in a medieval city, with many different acoustic reflections from the surrounding buildings. The stage is not in asymmetrical position within the square, and the back of the venue is also not symmetrical....It requires a lot of problem-solving and troubleshooting."
"The system also had to accommodate the incoming production design for David Byrne’s Who Is the Sky? Tour. FOH Engineer for David Byrne and owner of SpiritHouse Studio in Massachusetts, Danny Bernini, was positive about the system: “I like it. I’ve used it in a couple of different places and have been very happy with the sound. System Engineer Val Sulejmani and I feel like it’s a very musical PA. It sounds very good, and it’s fun to mix on. dBTechnologies have been hugely supportive.”
