1400 CEST. Out walking the upper decks. This ship is beautiful. Sailing the Med toward Kotor. Stopped by the bridge and chatted with Fourth Officer Alphonso. @windstarcruises had an open bridge policy. Alphonso gave me a tour and talked about this amazing vessel. 20 years ago this guy came into my life. Wow what a time and it’s flown by. He’s stuck by me even though I can be a huge pain in the ass. He’s seen my highs and my lows. He’s celebrated with me and been the shoulder I needed. He’s taught me and I him. He’s made me a better man. We’ve shared so many adventures together. This week we’re off cruising the Med to celebrate 20 years together and 16 years married. I am grateful for him and for our adventures and for the love and caring we have shared. On to the next @d.nearly !!

1636 CEST. Sicily. Didn’t go shore. Yacht life is hard and serious work. Massage done. Managed a small workout because ya know I can’t completely let go. Time off the back of the boat in cold water. Why yes, I’ll have another margarita as I watch the day go by. Getting vacation done. Aboard #windstarwindsurf by @dc_rower
