From dead-stock, to ad, to bag.

A little over a year ago, we used deadstock GORE-TEX to create hanging fabric banners across the Yamanote, Chuo, and Keio lines in Tokyo to announce the opening of the Arc’teryx Shinjuku store.

Those same banners were later upcycled into one of a kind bags and given away at the Ikebukuro store opening.

Dear Yakushima 屋久島,

A miracle three-day photoshoot for Arc’teryx on “The Alps of the Ocean”. Countless permits, special permissions, availabilities, typhoons, broken cameras, food poisoning, and stitches. We arrived hoping for rain and were gifted with some of the most beautiful hiking terrain in the world.

High calories, compact design, dense energy; yokan serves as a natural alternative to gels for trail runners in Japan.

Together with wagashi artisan @naocokojima and @arcteryx_jp, we developed a traditional yokan using an azuki bean base, black sugar, egg white, and agar.

Only available on Mt. Takao in Japan for a limited time.
