🌧️☕ Rainy weather, warm tea, soft music, and cozy moments… Sometimes you don’t need to go far, you just need the perfect little corner to slow down and enjoy the moment. 🤎✨

Come get cozy at Royal Bengal. Settle into the couch with your favorite Masala Tea, Milk Tea, or Black Tea, pair it with warm Bengali snacks, bring a book, have a quiet conversation, or simply enjoy the rainy-day vibes with someone special. 🫖📖❤️

Rain outside. Warmth inside. Tea in your hands. Someone you love beside you.
Where to go? @royal_bengal_cuisine. 👑☕🌧️

Blessed Solstice ✨🌞✨
It’s been a minute, all.

So much healing out here.
So much change.
So much growth.

Change is hard- but change is good-
Sometimes you need to be completely uprooted, and up-potted in order to grow to your fullest potential.

And the kicker is, like many plants—
You never know what that’s going to look like.
Especially after “trimming back”, letting your branches grow in new ways—
And half the time- you don’t even know what has planted itself in your gardens.

It’s worth seeing what has sprouted.
To identify it, so you KNOW what you need to weed out.. and might want to try to let grow.

Take your profound pause..
Then Make it a choice..
And trust the Universe with the ebb and flow of it all in the processes.

✨🌱🌹🌿✨

This Solstice-
May your gardens be lush with unexpected bounties, because you were brave enough to start over- and let growth happen.

So mote it be
So be it
So Dream it so

So I was thinking about the significance of language, words, names, and their meanings today
—-

…So yea, anyway…

This is a painting that I did in college, in the style called “Trompe L’Oeil”

It’s pronounced:
[Trump•Loy]

It means “deceive the eye”

It is an artistic term for highly realistic optical illusions of 3D objects painted onto 2D surfaces.

This style uses forced perspective to trick the audience into perceiving objects or spaces as real.

It will look realistic and sturdy… but upon closer inspection, you could see that the whole thing is a façade made completely of faux finishing techniques, and is just on a piece of thin painted canvas.

It is flat and without the substance it presents itself to have, so that it is portable for any audience or location it needs to be brought to as a backdrop of presentation.

The latin I wrote on the bottom of this piece says:
“Diis Aliter Visum”
Which means:
“The Gods Decided Otherwise”

My Scenic Art professors said that I could have used more cast-shadow here.. but.. I’m not good at lying.

🍎🌙Blessed Feast of Diana🌿🦌
May you find the Power of Pause in your Sanctuary.
That your communing with the Divine allows for the moment to Perceive whatever messages need to be revealed to you.
May you choose to Receive those messages, and take the time Process with honest vulnerable accountability.
May you honor your ability to Transmute those energies and Reflect them back out… like the Moon.
And may that bring you peace in your journey of energy exchanges with the Universe, and within yourself.
