One Year Without You, Mom ❤️
Today marks one year(09/16/25)since we lost you, Mom, and my heart still aches just as deeply as it did that day.
A year has passed, but the love I have for you hasn’t changed. I miss your voice, your smile, your laugh, your hugs, and all the little things that made you, you. There are so many moments when I still wish I could pick up the phone and hear you on the other end.
Losing your mom leaves a place in your heart that no one else can ever fill. I have learned that grief isn’t something you simply get over—it’s the price we pay for loving someone so deeply. And I would gladly carry that pain if it means I was lucky enough to have you as my mom.
I think about you every day. I carry your memory with me, and I see pieces of you in so many things around me. Your love, your strength, your faith, and the beautiful person you were will forever be a part of who I am.
Mom, I hope you know how much I love you. I hope somehow you can feel how much you are missed. My heart still aches from losing you, and I know it always will.
One year without you feels impossible to believe. But I take comfort knowing that although you are no longer here beside us, you will always be here within our hearts.
Until we meet again, Mom…
We love you. We miss you. And we will never stop loving you. ❤️🙏 by @dcaz85
