We did it!! πŸ™ŒπŸΎβ€οΈ I really just want to take a minute to celebrate with my team because the transformation of this property has been crazy!! From the renovations inside to the entire exterior facelift, when I look at where we started compared to where we are now...WOW. We purchased this multiplex for $510K and less than 2 years later, we are sitting at almost $1 MILLION in value. Now THIS is what legacy looks like. And trust me, it hasn't been easy. Financially, getting this property to this point has been A LOT. There were definitely moments where I was like, what did we get ourselves into?! But I know it's going to be so worth it. Real estate investing isn't for everyone. It isn't always pretty and sometimes you really have to weather the storm. To everyone who has been holding onto their real estate through one of the toughest economic times we've seen...keep going. Our time is coming again. πŸ™πŸΎ This is why I believe so heavily in owning assets. Not just for today, but for what we're building for our children and the generations after us. $510K to almost $1M in less than 2 years. Now that's LEGACY. One unit down... four more to go! πŸ™ŒπŸ½ We officially completed the first unit at our 38-40 Alice St 5 plex in Waterford! Now we're onto the next one, where we're converting one unit into TWO. More doors, more cash flow, and more value. This has easily been one of the most challenging projects I've taken on, but it's been worth every lesson along the way. We purchased this property last year for $510,000. Today, it's worth approximately $670,000. Once all of the renovations are complete and the rents are fully stabilized, we're projecting a value of approximately $1.2 million. Big shout out to my team for having the stomach to ride this roller coaster with me...because bwoi...It definitely hasn't been easy, but it's exciting to see the vision coming to life, one unit at a time. Everybody wants the wins...few are built for the process. I just want to share a little progress on one of mine and my team’s investment properties because sometimes people only see the finished product…they don’t see what it took to get there. We purchased this 5-plex property for $510,000. We just got our future appraised value back after renovations and increased rents… $910,000. And while that is something to celebrate, trust me…this journey has been quite the ride. We’ve dealt with landlord tenant board issues, plumbing upgrades, electrical work, vacancies, death of a tenant, renovations, exterior improvements…stress, delays, and plenty moments where things felt so exhausting. But we have a vision. That’s the thing about building wealth…everybody wants the reward, but not everybody is built for what it takes to get there. This journey will test your patience, your finances, and your mindset. It will stretch the hell out of you. But if you can see it through…the win on the other side is bigger than what you can imagine. It’s freedom. Legacy...It’s changing your family’s future. I’m proud of my team. My biggest wife flex is having a husband who truly lets me be me...All day everyday!
