This past weekend we ran through 50 miles of the most beautiful terrain I’ve ever seen. Got up to 11,500 feet of elevation a few times, definitely felt the altitude and forgot poles, but it was pure magic! Thanks to @sadiealloway and @sagaleotti for helping me get through and finish one of the toughest races I’ve ever experienced. Last weekend I finished my first 100 miler at Rio Del Lago. What a journey! Lots of joy, laughter, tears, & physical & mental struggles, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. @javelinajundred! My first 100k and I cannot imagine a more fun, high energy place to do it.
