I am beyond excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Charleston!

First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to play the sport I love at the next level.

To my Mom and Dad - thank you for your endless support and encouragement. I wouldn’t be where I am and who I am today without you both always pushing me to be my best, to work hard, to be a leader, & to believe in myself. From early mornings, late nights, pre/post game talks, and everything in between, thank you for being there every step of the way. To my siblings, Matti and Cason, I want to say thank you for everything. For all the competitiveness when we were younger, for always challenging me to be better and for always being my biggest fans.

To my extended families - thank you for being so supportive over the years and believing in me.

To my coaches and trainers - your guidance and encouragement has been such a big part in my development as a player and a person, and I can’t wait to carry all of this with me to the next level.

And now, I want to say a huge thank you to Coach Tesch and the entire Charleston Football staff for this opportunity. I am proud to be a part of the Golden Eagles Family!

The New Jersey Army National Guard Selection Tour makes its way to Colonia Hogh School to welcome TWO All Stars to the game. QB, Dylan Chiera finished the year as one of the states top QBs in passing yards, while LB Julien Jones finished as one of the states leaders in tackles. Excited to see these two represent the South ⭐️ by @dchiera22

Congrats to Senior, Dylan Chiera on the well deserved recognition 👏👏 The Senior Captain guided the 2025-2026 Patriots to 21 Wins, a N2G3 Championship and one of the most historic runs in program history!! @dchiera22 has been a key factor in @ctownhoops success over the past few years. A high-academic, three-sport athlete (basketball, baseball & football), he excels not only athletically, but in the classroom as well.

As the post season accolades come to an end. I would like to take a minute to honor a few of our guys who were recognized. From day one, they committed to the process and turned goals into milestones breaking records, rising to every challenge, and earning well-deserved postseason honors along the way. These guys raised the standard and left their mark and we couldn’t be more proud of them!!
