Meet the creative behind the business.

D. Conway Studio is more than paintings on canvas. It’s a growing business built on creativity, professionalism, and a passion for bringing meaningful ideas to life.

From commissioned artwork and live paint experiences to community events and creative collaborations, every project is approached with intention and care.

I want to see all 32s 😬 Nothing beats seeing a customer smiling from ear to ear while doing business with them.

Thank you to every client, supporter, and follower who has trusted me with their vision. This journey continues because of you.

Here’s to creating, growing, and building something meaningful together.

Meet the artist. 🎨

I’m Danelle, the artist behind D. Conway Studio.

What began during a challenging season of my life—as a young single mother navigating difficult decisions and learning how to rebuild—has grown into a journey of storytelling, healing, and connection through art. Creating became more than a creative outlet; it became a way to process, grow, and find purpose.

This—everything I’m building and creating—means more to me than I can put into words. From picking up a paintbrush again, to reconnecting with my creativity, to planning and bringing this photoshoot to life, every step has been meaningful. I’m incredibly thankful, genuinely happy, and proud of the work I’m doing—and I’m excited to keep going.

Most importantly, thank you. Your support, encouragement, comments, shares, and follows mean more than you know. 🥹🫶🏽

Whether you’re here for the process, the finished paintings, or simply to follow along on the journey, thank you for being part of it.

This is where creativity meets purpose. Welcome to my studio.

A little something special for Baby Winter Diane 🎀🩷

When your best friend is having a Barbie-themed baby shower, you obviously have to bring the vision to life on canvas. 🎨

I created this custom piece using hand-painted details, glitter, fabric bows and textured elements to make it feel just as fun and feminine as the celebration itself.

One of my favorite parts of creating art is making pieces that become part of someone’s memories. Seeing this displayed at the shower and surrounded by all the beautiful pink details made this one extra special. 🥹💕

Welcome to the world of Barbie, Winter Diane! 🎀

I need to get out more 😊🌴🎨🌞

If this week has taught me anything, it’s to know what your protective factors are. Painting is one of mine. It allows me to slow down and breathe. Appreciate all that I have and it makes me happy. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to stop long enough to paint for the joy of it. Sometimes you just need to step outside and let that sun hit you while doing something you love.

One sketch. One submission. One year later…

Today, I was presented with the very first newly designed Deployment Support Command Excellence Challenge Coin on behalf of Commanding General BG Davis.

Over a year ago, Deployment Support Command held a contest inviting Soldiers across the command to submit ideas for a new challenge coin.

I decided to take a chance.

Today I found out that my design was selected as the winning entry.

As an artist, it’s an incredible feeling to watch something that once existed only as an idea become something tangible that will now be carried by Soldiers and leaders throughout the command.

This moment reminded me that creativity doesn’t have to stay inside a studio. Sometimes it finds its place in uniforms, traditions, and organizations that will carry your work long after you’re gone.

I’m beyond grateful, humbled, and incredibly proud to have contributed a small piece to Deployment Support Command’s legacy.

Here’s to continuing to create—in all walks of life.

🇺🇸🎨

“Your gifts can make room for you in places you never imagined.”

Who would’ve thought the same hands that paint canvases would one day design a challenge coin for the U.S. Army?

Paint + Process | Episode 1: Wish Me Well

Today was a hard day.

Someone I care deeply about is carrying a lot right now, and when the people we love are struggling, sometimes we feel the weight of it too.

This sketch is called Wish Me Well.

Creating it reminded me of something I needed to hear myself: it’s okay to pause. It’s okay to step away, take a breath, and reset. Sometimes making it through the day isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about giving yourself permission to rest.

I lost count of how many times I walked in the rain today just to clear my head, but each time I came back a little stronger.

If you’re carrying something heavy today, I hope you know this:

You will be okay.
Everything will be okay.
And somehow, some way, everything will work out.

Thank you for sharing this space with me. 🫶🏽

Commission #3 is complete. ✨

16x20, Acrylic Painting

This commission was created to honor the incredible women in healthcare who showed up every day during the pandemic—saving lives while putting their own on the line.

It celebrates their strength, compassion, resilience, and the quiet beauty of a profession built on selflessness.

To every woman in healthcare: thank you for your sacrifice, your courage, and all that you continue to do. 🤎✨

BTS of my latest branding photoshoot. 🎬✨

From setting the scene to picking up the brush, getting into position, and trying to remember how to pose… this is what the camera doesn’t always show.

These moments are just as meaningful to me as the finished photos because they’re part of building something I’ve dreamed about for a long time.

Also… can we talk about the ending? 😂 Apparently there was what looked like a spider crawling on my foot, and I had absolutely no idea. I was so focused on creating that I didn’t notice until I watched the footage back.

Safe to say… I almost lost my life trying to bring this “Meet the Artist” introductory photoshoot to life. So I hope you all like it. There was a lot on the line.. lifeline🕷️🤣😭😂

Thanks for following along as I continue building D. Conway Studio. The best is still ahead. 🤍

Finished Commission 2! ✨

This one was special because this place meant a lot to my client. It is actually two places that I combined into one. It’s meant to bring her positive vibes, peace of mind, nostalgia, and overall happiness when passing it by throughout the day.

If you want me to create a piece to brighten your day, let me know! DM or email me a picture or describe your thoughts and I will make them into your very own masterpiece.

What’s your favorite part of this piece? Mountains? Waterfall?
