Track Sectional Action: Freshman Brooklyn Flaningam picks up a 2nd place in Pole Vault and tied her PR at 9-0 and then drops a 4 second PR in the 800m Run to finish 3rd. She will compete in both events at the Evansville Regional next Tuesday. Sophomore Sarah Nowaskie ran a gutsy race in a talented field in the 3200. She placed 3rd to advance to the Evansville Regional in back to back seasons. by @dcrabtree85

Sarah Nowaskie has a career day!
Alli Hayden and Ana Smith finish their final career races!
Sarah ran a 19:55 for a personal best time by 26 seconds. She finished 42nd out of 247 runners at the IHSAA “Super Regional.” Sarah would have finished 3rd in the old regional format. As a sophomore, she is a 2 time conference champ and 2 time regional qualifier. She was also the conference champ in the 1600 and 3200 and regional qualifier in both on the track last spring.

Alli finished her stellar career as a 4 time regional qualifier (1 time semi-state qualifier before the IHSAA did away with it) and a 4 time all conference runner. In my opinion, Alli belongs in the conversation as a top 10 career in SK girls XC history. While some had bigger spike seasons, her consistency was truly remarkable!

Ana joined XC as a sophomore and became a 3 time regional qualifier in XC and 3 time winner of the team’s Most Improved Award (2 XC, 1 Track). She is a school record holder on the 4x800 relay. Her story is pretty amazing! by @dcrabtree85
